Welcome to Godly Heartstrings – A Blog of Prayers Only

I’ve believed in God for as long as I can remember. My very first conversation with Him happened when I was just 8 years old. I don’t remember every word I said, but I remember knowing—deep down—that He was listening. And even more than that… I knew He loved me. That knowing never left me.

Since then, I’ve had countless conversations with God. Some were joyful, others tearful. Sometimes I would talk to Him so long and so late into the night, I could almost feel Him smile and gently say, “Go to sleep, I’m still here.” God became the one constant I could always turn to.

But life isn’t always light and peace. I’ve struggled—still do. Some days I pray out of gratitude, other days just to survive the weight of everything I’m carrying. There are times I feel strong in my faith, and there are days I feel like I’m holding on by a thread. Maybe you’ve felt that too.

I created this blog for people like me. People who still believe, even when it’s hard. People who want to stay close to God even when they feel far from themselves. People who need a safe space to sit with Him—no judgment, no pressure—just prayer.

This isn’t a blog filled with devotionals, advice, or commentary. It’s just prayers. Honest, raw, simple prayers. Some are short. Some are longer. All are written from the heart, and all are written with the hope that someone else out there might whisper “Amen” with me.

Whether you’re tired, thankful, confused, grieving, hopeful, or just trying to get through another day—there’s a prayer here for you. And if you don’t have the words right now, that’s okay. You can borrow mine until you find your own again.

Thank you for being here. You’re not alone.
